Tony Robbins: Why he is the Most Powerful Personal Growth Coach Ever

Tony Robbins Bio

Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is an American best-selling author, philanthropist, entrepreneur and motivational speaker. He was born on February 29, 1960 in North Hollywood, California. America’s #1 life and business strategist and author of six internationally best-selling books.

Tony is what I consider a success power house and the perfect example of what it means to be resilient. Not only is he the chairman of a billion dollar company, but he is also the creator of the world’s best personal and business development program. His program has impacted the lives of over 4 million people who have attended his life-changing seminars organized through Robbins Research International Inc. The marketing and research branch of his personal development business in charge of organizing  personal development, sales and corporate seminars that cover a wide array of topics, from mental conditioning and personal achievement systems to communication and business mastery.

His successful coaching techniques has earned him the title of CEO Whisperer bestowed upon him by Fortune magazine. While he is known as one of the world’s top gurus, Tony’s rise to success was not an easy path.

Growing up, Tony grew up in a very physical abusive environment with a mum addicted to drugs and alcohol. His step dad was a salesman who had trouble making ends meet and in high school was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in his brain that caused him a growth spurt. At 14 he was forced to care for his siblings as he recounts;

“And I had to protect my brother and sister, so I became a practical psychologist just out of necessity.” Tony Robbins

At 17 he was chased out of his home by his mom with a knife and never returned. He dropped out of school and took up his first job as a janitor earning $40 a week. Despite all these setbacks, Tony did not give up. One day during a talk with the landlord of the site he was cleaning, the man revealed to him that his life had changed and he became successful after attending one of Jim Rohn’s motivational seminars. The landlord described the experience as gathering everything he had learned in his life between his 20s and 30s and pouring it out in 4 hours. That day Tony decided he wanted his life to change too.

Despite earning just $40 a week, he bought a $35 ticket for Jim Rohn’s seminar where he met the speaker and asked him for a job. He took a bold leap of faith and saw himself rewarded as that day marked the beginning of an incredible journey to success.

Jim Rohn became his mentor and taught him the importance of developing a skill set so as to create value for others. Tony followed this advice and left from earning $40 to $30 million by 2007.

While striving to build his brand he faced several obstacles. One of his business partners abandoned him with a bill of $150 million to settle, he had difficulties finding competent and honest staff and so much more problems kept landing at his feet. But each time he showed steadfast optimism and incredible confidence and was able to pull through. His capacity to control his thoughts is the reason for his tremendous success in life and he has dedicated his life to teaching people how to attain such levels of success both on a personal and financial level.

Today he has an amazing track record of being a personal and business coach for the likes of Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Joe Gebbia of Airbnb, Pitbull, Serena Williams and even the Golden State Warriors.

His teachings, talks and performances have impacted the lives of over 50 million people all over the world. And as a philanthropist he has provided over 500 million meals in the past 5 years to the needy. His next goal is to provide up to a billion meals over the next 5 years.

    I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a
    blog that’s both educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you have
    hit the nail on the head. The problem is something not enough folks are
    speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I came across this in my search for something concerning this.
